A guide to submitting your membership.

Please take the time to read trough this tutorial on how the membership application works. Following these steps should avoid issues with paypal and credit cards.  If you like you can click here to open another window with the membership application in it so you can follow it step by step. Step 1.

Start by choosing your membership type(1) by clicking the little button. For this example we're following a single membership. This page may change over time as we offer different levels of membership so read the descriptions to find the one that best suits your needs. When done, click on next(2)

Step 2.

Here is where you enter in all your details. Make up a password and try to remember it. (don't make it too simple) Your name, address and DOB are used for the insurance so please make sure they are accurate. If you want to upload a avatar for the forums then you can do so here too.

Step 3.

Follow down the form,
(1) Select your local club memberships and the mailing lists that you wish to participate in. Select as many as you wish. (These may change also and you can change them later)
(2) Kite Buddies. Click yes here for other members to see you on the list, enter a contact detail in the box below. email or phone number.
(3) If you are an IKO Instructor click yes here, if not just choose no.
(4) This choice is for your FREE membership T-shirt. Choose the size and type (size chart is here)
(5) Want another T-shirt for the partner or kids, you can choose other ones here at extra cost.
(6) Click on submit when all your details are done.

Step 4.

Now we get into the payment method. If you want to pay by bank deposit or transfer choose manual and you'll receive an email with all the instructions in it. To pay by credit card choose online(1) and then click next(2)

Step 5.

Now you are redirected to paypal. To pay by credit card click 'Continue'(1). If you have a paypal account and are savvy from here on enter your details in (2) and login normally and skip the next steps and continue with the payment. Harvey here is going with (1).

Step 6.

This is the paypal form for billing.  These details are not stored by us and can differ from your postal address. They should match your credit card account. Enter all the details(1) (you can see that Harvey here tried to skip some) ensure your email address is correct and click on 'Review and Continue'(2)

Step 7.

This screen catches most people out. If you have ever used your credit card (or partners) on paypal before it may come up saying its registered to an account, don't worry click that little 'Contine without logging in' link hidden at the bottom(1)

Step 8.

We're nearly there.  Here is the summary of the bill, check its all correct and then click on one of the pay now buttons. Click once or paypal can get upset.

Step 9.

That's it. Assuming the credit card is ok and the payment was successful you will be redirected back to the members area of the website where you can now browse about and use the forums. You'll need to log back in every time you come back to the website to use the forums. You will recieve a welcome email from NSWKBA and a receipt for our payment.  We'll pick-up your membership and send out your goodies to you.

Step 10. Family Membership only.

If you have signed up for family membership and want to add your other family members to your membership (you can add upto the max number on the account) click on the profile link under your login box
Repeat this process for as many family members as you require to Add.
